HRDC wins World of Children Award (again!)

One of our longtime and most awe-inspiring partners, Dr. Ashok Banskota and his Hospital and Rehabilitation Center for Disabled Children (HRDC), has won an esteemed award—again!

HRDC has treated thousands of children over the years and reached over 45,000 people from health camps after the Nepal earthquakes.

In 2011, HRDC won the World of Children’s Health Award. World of Children recently held their Alumni Honors, where they recognize past winners who have done more than imagined since receiving the first award.

Since 1998, World of Children has sifted through thousands of applications to award 110 individuals who help educate, heal, and care for children. Of these 110, HRDC is one of only nine to be awarded with Alumni honors. And it’s well deserved! HRDC has treated thousands of children over the years and reached over 45,000 people from health camps after the Nepal earthquakes.

Adding this to their 2014 Stars Impact Award, and HRDC is on quite a roll.
