Hundreds of AHF members attended a wonderful evening with a host of amazing guests -- 41 Everest summits among them -- including Jon Krakauer, Tom Hornbein, Conrad Anker, Pete Athans, Apa Sherpa, Lakpa Gelu Sherpa and the indomitable Dr. Aruna Uprety (on stage above) from AHF's RHEST program for at-risk Nepali girls.
And, most importantly, all proceeds from this event will help bring schools, medical care and environmental conservation to the Everest area.
