Family life at the Manjushree School for Tibetan refugee children
Dear AHF,
First of all, on the behalf of our family I would like to convey my hearty Tashi Delek and thank you very much from the core of mine heart for your devotion and kind contribution to this reputed school. In fact, all the children of this settlement stands on their feet due to your kind sponsorship where we gets free schooling and outfits at Manjushree School situated in the heart of our settlement called Paljorling Settlement, a self-reliant and unity formed of former Tibetan Resistance Force. Hence, sharing your helping hands for the betterment of this school will be left indebted in the mind of our people. God bless you for your kind commitments.
We are joint family consisting of seven family members. My late father in law was also Voluntary Tibetan Resistance Force. When Tibet was invaded by red Chinese regimes in 1959, they fought back and well escorted our temporal leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama and his followers to exile. For myself, I did my schooling from Tibetan Children’s Village school and had worked for business units under the council of Tibetan Government in Exile for almost 12 years.
I have two sons. The elder is Tenzin Tsondue, 11 years old in class IV and my younger son Tenzin Pasang, 6 years old is in upper kindergarten. Both my sons are studying at Manjushree School with free studentship. Both of them are very good in academic field. This reputed school is very helpful. Recently, both of them have given a final examination. Tenzin Tsondue will be in class V and Tenzin will be in class I after a short vacation. This school means a lot to my family. In fact, teachers have well teaching skills with sense of commitment to the school.
Hope this letter of mine will find you in the best of health. And our regular prayers and almighty blessings are always with you. May you live long and your gratitude to this school won’t be flourished worthless. We are always indebted to it. God bless you! Keep in touch with us.
Your loving sons,
Tenzin Tsondue
Tezing Pasang
and their family members.
