Charu Pradhan, Nepal Country Director, a native of Kathmandu, has been with the Foundation since 2001. Her job has her visiting villages in remote corners of Nepal, where she witnesses firsthand the hardships many of her fellow countrymen experience; she is appreciative for the opportunity to help. Charu managed and grew our Amar program, the crucial last two years of STOP Girl Trafficking, from a handful of scholars to a vast network that now includes every girl. She enjoys biking and hiking with her husband and son, and looks forward to her family’s annual holiday—usually on a beach somewhere in Asia.
