Sarah Bakker, Director of Operations, joined AHF in 2011 after trading harsh Chicago winters for sunny California. With a degree in political science and a background in fundraising, she is a strategic problem solver with a gift for gab. From talking with donors and managing our database to editing reports and running events—if we do it, she probably has a hand in it. By day she can be found riding her bike in the East Bay, by night, catching a live band at a local venue.
